Description
Hook for elastic bungee cord – 6 mm end fitting.
This steel hook is designed as a secure end for elastic cords (bungee), often referred to as a tensioner or expander end.
It’s protected with a black KTL coating (cathodic electrophoretic deposition), providing high resistance to corrosion and wear, ideal for outdoor applications.
Technical specifications:
Material: steel
Finish: KTL (black cathodic coating)
Hole diameter: 6 mm
Total length: 65 mm
Wire thickness: approx. 2.5 mm
Mounting: secured by a knot or metal crimp/sleeve
These hooks are commonly used to terminate elastic cords by tying a knot or using a steel clamp.
The KTL coating process involves immersing the part in electrically charged paint, ensuring an even, durable finish across all surfaces.
